This is the story of 4 dogs and 2 cats and the humans who “own” them. All of our animals are rescues, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Although I missed the itty bitty puppy stage with each of the dogs, I can’t imagine if any one of them didn’t get a 2nd,or even a 3rd, chance. Dogs are the very incarnation of love in my opinion. I truly believe in adoption vs. breeding for a companion animal. My heart breaks to think of all the dogs and cats that will never find a forever home. So many dogs in adoption shelters, rescue and no-kill facilities just need a chance to prove how gifted they really are. Many ways exist to evaluate how a particular shelter dog will fit into your home. Head strong as I am, this process has always taken place from the heart. Believing that life is adventure, I have knowingly taken in a few that require a little more attention than the average dog. I will always adopt and this site is a tribute to these special four-legged creatures who make me look forward to each and every day with them.
