Archie’s Cache
Yesterday we rearranged the furniture in our office. Underneath the bookcase we found a treasure trove that could only belong to Archie. There were bottle caps, one cat nip toy and disturbingly… almonds?! An entire handful of them. And there were little teeth marks in them. We don’t leave almonds–or any food–unattended in this household. I could see maybe one, but there were at least 6 or 7. We have no idea how he got a hold of so many, but we do know he was saving them for later. I shudder to think about what else is hidden throughout the house. Perhaps the old saying, “what you don’t know can’t hurt you” applies in this case. I am utterly perplexed.
